New Research in Rural Space Music

On November 7, 2018, I worked with my trio Twang Darkly (Joel Boultinghouse on guitar and Lane Bayliss on drums) to stage New Research in Rural Space Music, an open recording and development session event at minicine?. As we recorded, visual artist Steve Zihlavsky performed live interpretive sketches for projection on the wall behind us.

After this live recording session, I happened to discover a cache of recordings from a 2017 live on-air performance at Red River Radio and I realized that we had a new album on our hands!
